Welcome to HeDian. Please read these terms before using the app. By using HeDian, you agree to be bound by these terms.
The service
HeDian is a cocktail recipe app providing:
- A curated cocktail recipe database
- Personal bar inventory management
- Tools to save and create custom recipes
Your responsibilities
Signing in
A HeDian account is optional. You can sign in using:
- Phone number + SMS verification code
- Sign in with Apple
Account safety
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Don't share your account with others
- Contact us immediately if your account is compromised
Content guidelines
When using HeDian, do not:
- Upload illegal, sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
- Infringe on others' intellectual property
- Use the app to conduct illegal activities
Intellectual property
App content
The built-in recipe database, interface design, and written content are owned by HeDian.
User-created content
You retain ownership of recipes you create in the app. You grant us permission to store and display them while providing the service.
Publishing a recipe publicly
When you set a recipe to "Everyone can see", you confirm and warrant that:
- The content is your own work, or you have obtained the rights holder's permission, and it infringes no third party's intellectual property
- You grant HeDian a free license to display and distribute the content in the app and related promotional channels, credited to your account's display name
- The content makes no claims about health benefits of drinking, promotes no brands, and does not encourage underage or excessive drinking
Public recipes are reviewed by a person before becoming visible to everyone. We may decline or remove content that breaks these commitments, and may restrict publishing for accounts that do so repeatedly.
Disclaimers
- Recipes in HeDian are for reference only and do not constitute professional drinking advice
- Please drink responsibly. Underage drinking is prohibited.
- We are not liable for consequences resulting from the use of recipe information
- We don't guarantee uninterrupted service and may pause it for maintenance
Service changes and termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time. Significant changes will be announced in advance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
